Learn About the Museum

Opening in the Spring of 2014, the National September 11th Memorial Museum will be the primary resource for educational reflection regarding the attacks and their aftermath. The facility will host a wide range of artifacts, including memorials and debris, as well as interactive exhibits about every victim who passed that day.

Locate a Name

The names of every victim from the World Trade Center attacks of 1993 and 9/11, the Pentagon, and Shanksville, PA, as well as all 4 hijacked planes, are carved into the bronze borders of the memorial's footprint fountains. Careful attention was paid to their arrangement, placing co-workers, friends and family together. Locations of specific names can be found at 911memorial.org, through downloadable smart phone apps, and at on-site kiosks.
